ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

The IBC Malaysia Congress 2026 organizing committee cordially invites you to submit abstracts.

  • All abstracts must be submitted online via the "Abstract Submission" by 30 April 2026.

  • Please read the guidelines carefully before submitting your abstract.

BEST ORAL PRESENTATION AWARD

​​​​The winner of the Best Oral Presentation will receive complimentary registration to the IBC Oxford World Congress, held at the University of Oxford, United Kingdom.

Registration value: USD 895 (approximately MYR 3,600)

Guide to Presentation Types

Authors may choose their presentation type preference. However, the scientific committee will make the final decision on presentation type after review of the abstracts.

Detailed Submission Guidelines

Abstract Format

  • Title: Max 30 words

  • Body: Max 300 words (including spaces)

  • Font : Times New Romans, Arial, Calibri

  • Font size : 12

  • Up to 1 graphs/tables or images

  • Abstracts must be written in clear English and presented in English. 

 

Structure

  • Introduction and Objective: A statement of the hypothesis or research question.

  • Methods: An explanation of the study design and experimental methods used.

  • Results: A concise summary of the major findings of the experiment or study. Sufficient data must be provided to permit evaluation by the reviewers and public reading of the abstract. Statements such as “the data will be discussed” are not acceptable.

  • Conclusions: Summary of the overall findings and the importance of the study.

 
Names

  • Name(s) of presenting author and co-authors : First name(s) and Family name(s) (e.g. John Smith).

 
Affiliation

  • Department, Institution/Hospital, City and Country. Affiliation(s) should be annotated by superscript numbers.

Tables, Graphs, and Images

  • The total number of tables/graphs/images should not exceed 1.

  • The maximum file size of each graph/image is 500 KB.

  • The maximum pixel size of the graph/image is 800(w) x 800(h) pixel. Make sure that the resolution of the image is at least 300dpi.

  • You may upload graphs in JPG, GIF, PNG, DOC or DOCX format.

Important Information

  • All abstracts must be submitted online prior to 30 April 2026.

  • Authors cannot edit or modify submitted abstracts.

  • It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that their text (including their affiliations and departments) does not contain typos or grammatical errors.

  • Presenting authors must register for the congress through the website before 30 April 2026.

  • The e-mail you provided us will be used to notify you of the acceptance status and to send you updates.

Notification of Acceptance

  • All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee according to standard review procedures.

  • Notification of acceptance will be sent by e-mail to corresponding, presenting and abstract submitting authors by 30 April 2026.

Withdrawal of Abstracts

  • If the presenting author of an accepted abstract does not register by the pre-registration date, the abstract will be automatically withdrawn from the final program.

  • If you would like to withdraw an abstract, please notify the secretariat (Email: ibcmalaysia.secretariat@gmail.com) in writing as soon as possible.
