The IBC Malaysia Congress 2026 is the inaugural regional summit organised by the IBC Malaysia Chapter and forms part of the International Bariatric Club’s broader non-profit educational activities linked to its United States- and United Kingdom-based academic leadership.

The congress brings together regional and international experts to discuss the full spectrum of contemporary obesity care, including:

• Obesity physiology and metabolic science

• Metabolic and bariatric surgery

• Endobariatric therapies including ESG, TORe, and emerging technologies

• Obesity pharmacotherapy including GLP-1, dual and triple agonists, and novel agents

• Lifestyle medicine, nutrition, psychology, and behavioural science

• Integrated multidisciplinary care models

• Regional clinical outcomes and Asia-specific data

 

This congress represents a significant academic collaboration between Malaysia, the ASEAN region, and the wider International Bariatric Club community.
